The Festival Brass of Dallas

Dallas 214-328-9330

music@flash.net

Together since 1979, this brass ensemble is renowned for church music. They don't list any pricing on their website, so you'll have to call or email them.
Legend Brass Quintet

Arlington 817-296-9215

Performing in the DFW area since 1985, the group consists of 2 trumpets, a french horn, a trombone, and a tuba. The pricing information on the website was different from what I got at the Bridal show, where they told me that weddings start at $700 and receptions are $350 per hr with a 2 hr minimum.

Miscellaneous Dallas Musicians

The Andersons

DFW

email form on website

This mother/daughter duo has been heavily influenced by Shania and Sheryl Crow. Available for weddings, but check their schedule on the website to see if they're available on your date.
Big-T and the Bada-Bings

DFW 972-394-8379

BigT@BigT-Music.com

Offering a 6, 15, or 19 piece band, Big-T and the Bada-Bings will keep your party going with their blend of blues and swing. No pricing online, so call or email for more info.
Center Stage Band

DFW 972-317-2336

lu@encoreproductions.ws

They bill themselves as one of Dallas' most sought-after wedding bands. They'll play anything from soft jazz to Top 40 favorites, with a little Motown, swing, and even disco thrown in for good measure. Lots of music samples on the website, but you won't find any pricing - you'll have to call for that!
David Carr Jr.

DFW 800-650-5003

saxfacts@davidcarrjr.com

The mouse effects on the website are quite annoying, and the website in general doesn't provide much information. David will fill the air with his smooth saxophone for your wedding ceremony for $500, and that includes a gold CD keepsake of your ceremony music, signed by David himself. Or, have him serenade you during your limo ride for $100.
Nick DiGennaro

DFW 214-349-7073

nick@nickdmusic.com

5/05

Nick DiGennaro has performed professionally for over thirty years. He specializes in solo guitar and small ensembles. He has given two solo concerts sponsored by the Dallas Classical Guitar Society, and has backed such noted artists as Diahanne Carroll and Bo Didley. For weddings, Nick can provide either solo guitar, the Guitar/Woodwinds Duo, or the Jazz Trio, and the same group can be used for the wedding ceremony and the reception. Music samples online, but no pricing.
Gloria D'Arezzo & Friends

DFW 972-989-7822

divag1@msn.com

11/04

The Gloria D'Arezzo & Friends band (aka "Diva G and High Maintenance") can play everything from jazz to pop, disco to country. The band can provide 2 to 6 musicians depending on your preferences. No pricing on the website, but there is a limited calendar so you can check their availability. One Big Mistake - no phone or email address on the website. You must use the website form to contact them.
Love Notes

DFW 972-647-9580

lovenoteswedding@earthlink.net

Carol Sage has a nice website that even lists pricing. She bills herself as a "one-stop, one-woman shop" for all your wedding music needs. Wedding pricing starts at $250, and the wedding and 2-hr reception package starts at $500.
LoveSong

DFW 972-783-9787

lovesong@machelpdesk.com

11/04

Although their website stinks, that doesn't mean that their music does too! LoveSong is a 3-person band plus a computer that makes up for all the other instruments that aren't covered by Janice, Greg, and Dru. They bill themselves as "very affordable", but there's no pricing on the website.
Keith Schmorr - Pianist

DFW (214) 288-3281

k.schmo@verizon.net

9/05

Keith Schmorr is a local pianist available as a soloist or with an ensemble. His repertoire includes classical, jazz, standards, Broadway, Contemporary and Pop. His website contains music samples and a song list, but no pricing or a biography.
The Scottish Piper

DFW (972) 307-5615

piperinc@flash.net

Who doesn't love some good bagpiping? Pipe Major Don Shannon, a native of Northern Ireland, has played for everyone from The Queen of England to Rod Stewart. According to the website, hiring a piper could be one of the most memorable touches to your special day. No doubt about that!
Bill Tillman Band and Hot Orchestra

Prosper 972-562-6834

ed@edwardcobb.com

Bill's worked on the road with Roy Orbison and Gladys Knight, and has a long history of professional music performance. Select from the 6-piece Bill Tillman Group, the 14-piece Bill Tillman Band, or the 20-piece Bill Tillman Orchestra. Prices start at $3,250 for the Group, $7,500 for the Band, and $10,000 for the Orchestra. You must provide a stage, electricity, and a dressing room/green room with hospitality (including food and drink during setup and a meal prior to the show - divas!).
